The AVR Burn-O-Mat is a GUI for Avrdude (a popular command-line program for programming AVR chips). The program should be self explaining (first you should take a look at the settings) and is is written in Java so you need the Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE).
The goals of this program is a fast, reliable and simple to use program.
It can program AVR devices in STK500V2(HID Mode) and STK500(CDC Mode) modes.
